Hi, I’m Jeffrey Barnes. I began my career in the publishing world as an illustrator for book covers and calendars, later becoming a magazine ad designer. In 2008 I started an independent design company, creating branding and marketing materials mainly for the arts and tourism fields. 2015 marked the beginning of a long and prolific relationship with the publishing arm of a policy think tank—I design all of their books and journals, the perfect work for me with my lifelong love of books. In recent years, I’ve also had the opportunity to be the art director for twenty issues of the quarterly magazine of a prominent sculpture organization. I feel very lucky to live by the sea in Portugal.
